Hello there my friends, welcome to the month of</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Lurve!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Or just February if you are single and loving it like me.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4P_bxvng2tN4uGDicL1n8ykP9Jxm0A3KPf_YQ9v8kFpx9ujPFE2HeG5jojKmDlLH7db88YHngUy5xOpDGY-LOIwybv5mBXz9oo0gR-DpfhrUjmQVvgsZGZQT4iVDhOq8MgL8ebmfwxiw/s1600/IMG_2986.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="310" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4P_bxvng2tN4uGDicL1n8ykP9Jxm0A3KPf_YQ9v8kFpx9ujPFE2HeG5jojKmDlLH7db88YHngUy5xOpDGY-LOIwybv5mBXz9oo0gR-DpfhrUjmQVvgsZGZQT4iVDhOq8MgL8ebmfwxiw/s320/IMG_2986.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This months artwork was inspired by Maria Simms' "finish it Friday"</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I had a look through what I had already started but not 'finished'</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I found a lovely piece of card that I had finger painted with the PaperArtsy fresco finish paints<br />
(Clarity sell these too!<span style="color: red;"><a href="http://www.claritystamp.co.uk/Accessories/Fresco-Finish-Acrylic-Paints"> HERE)</a></span></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
and it was in my favourite bright colours. I added some white paint<br />
splats and some black oil pastels for interest too.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLs20Lne45S1oCfcy9hP18j0ax-I65SC8smZfqJkzow8lvbD35OSOnBia-lMO_JgriB-TgCFpGNBScLR6z1DxwrE-ja-hZSU5-0ToerZJ771M030KohA4WNXF5FQBWYz94QLNSb0hJYfg/s1600/IMG_2977.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjLs20Lne45S1oCfcy9hP18j0ax-I65SC8smZfqJkzow8lvbD35OSOnBia-lMO_JgriB-TgCFpGNBScLR6z1DxwrE-ja-hZSU5-0ToerZJ771M030KohA4WNXF5FQBWYz94QLNSb0hJYfg/s320/IMG_2977.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I then found a cockerel and a chicken that I had previously coloured </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
in with pencils. These come in a fabulous stamp set which you can find<br />
<span style="color: red;"><a href="http://www.claritystamp.co.uk/Clear-Stamps/Animals/18150-/Cockerel-amp-Hen-+-MASK---Unmounted-Clear-Stamp-Set">HERE</a></span><br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
I cut them both out ready to use.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCgBnEv158RXahyphenhyphenja20WDlBrDAJJhxkYaM6DsnzVBNqAsogFu301nrVzULEjMTAath-cQgcRiS-lPMNok1kgAl4bON-4HZ3oKr3G6bo8b6IUh-xeMgEjjkn3-JK6GO_EhrT4B_RSWS4y8/s1600/IMG_2979.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCgBnEv158RXahyphenhyphenja20WDlBrDAJJhxkYaM6DsnzVBNqAsogFu301nrVzULEjMTAath-cQgcRiS-lPMNok1kgAl4bON-4HZ3oKr3G6bo8b6IUh-xeMgEjjkn3-JK6GO_EhrT4B_RSWS4y8/s320/IMG_2979.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I needed something else so I had a look</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
around and spotted gelli print waste, from my next project.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Vg2-hQrbmyu0bZYoIIGTQyOkMtEZ0TaimOTJpNZowtrvFjoHzvQ0FNOLj1I4GAPL8ozQ5IDck1XApEdRSOXANe4uFFUbQDCiymQwz4hpsezfUK7tYtXYbygkocq5iv307cHG_10JKF8/s1600/IMG_2982.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8Vg2-hQrbmyu0bZYoIIGTQyOkMtEZ0TaimOTJpNZowtrvFjoHzvQ0FNOLj1I4GAPL8ozQ5IDck1XApEdRSOXANe4uFFUbQDCiymQwz4hpsezfUK7tYtXYbygkocq5iv307cHG_10JKF8/s320/IMG_2982.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used this and cut out some hearts which I placed on the card.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhem36NIzvNYDNIw0srEFXW2Emz3TktUs315BKEV-uOdcOFiwQsYcN7hN3RTD84UN8HnwvqnfaD7SLYun0FZILG5QQ3f6NV64pW36daOYZe9mvS85JTNtKgsqDXDu6lAEiyVZemEcelgjU/s1600/IMG_2984.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhem36NIzvNYDNIw0srEFXW2Emz3TktUs315BKEV-uOdcOFiwQsYcN7hN3RTD84UN8HnwvqnfaD7SLYun0FZILG5QQ3f6NV64pW36daOYZe9mvS85JTNtKgsqDXDu6lAEiyVZemEcelgjU/s320/IMG_2984.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped the words from the set at the top, and then</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
put the rest of the pieces on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4JXNJGOYRjZ0c4P84qtxJjbQW72dUtZ3BtVInuXqi7iii0bDaSdCh0_jw9_3HvDm9NzgAfRsBmvP4CdkyJ6tFcpyVuy-kAqKEqOpLpjFrvC791vExSkZ1XWKmR5ue-Pe9GgknaesiESU/s1600/IMG_2987.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4JXNJGOYRjZ0c4P84qtxJjbQW72dUtZ3BtVInuXqi7iii0bDaSdCh0_jw9_3HvDm9NzgAfRsBmvP4CdkyJ6tFcpyVuy-kAqKEqOpLpjFrvC791vExSkZ1XWKmR5ue-Pe9GgknaesiESU/s320/IMG_2987.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I drew round the chicken and cockerel with a white pen </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
to highlight them and round the heart with a dark pencil.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
It just helps to make them pop a bit.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I hope you like my loved up fowl!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
And thanks to Maria for making me finish this.</div>

Hello bloggers, I hope you have had chance to join in with this months</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Clarity Challenge, it really is worth entering. £50.00 in vouchers is not to be sniffed at my friends.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This bright and sunshiny piece was made using the cute little <a href="http://www.claritystamp.co.uk/Clear-Stamps/Floral/17992-/Flower-Boxes---Unmounted-Clear-Stamp-Set">daffodil stamp,</a> which</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I stamped in a row on a piece of white card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1gQ4opchyphenhyphen-i1EwrAp69MtvCsqp9bftj7dtfDj8jm64dv-9MpbSjZMB1IbM3iPpmOciM5y-uTdXxmI87ss57_zofWc6Mbk3oS2e0JqSiMUQL8hpo-yCew3pmQT01FLJRRSMipEkinSUgM/s1600/01ede775cb28749c40c8763fddbe42a6fe5a66453c.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg1gQ4opchyphenhyphen-i1EwrAp69MtvCsqp9bftj7dtfDj8jm64dv-9MpbSjZMB1IbM3iPpmOciM5y-uTdXxmI87ss57_zofWc6Mbk3oS2e0JqSiMUQL8hpo-yCew3pmQT01FLJRRSMipEkinSUgM/s320/01ede775cb28749c40c8763fddbe42a6fe5a66453c.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then coloured them with my new best friends, the kuretake watercolours.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
When I had done this I decided to give it a bit of a sheen by clear embossing over</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
the entire piece (someone please remind me to get some new clear embossing powder that</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
doesn't have white bits in it!).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrRBfoywtB45Lb6HESoG1x07koOVMgq5-4MfaE0ODO1-8f2un3DAeJhe6x25Ge2DQr2OOIpqVvGLye2XJjmnroP1CKvwtBbyYZd27cqjznGy_V_IVG7zkncdxKwA7HOvXZIQ1MhMR-IPk/s1600/016ff3dce60c7d84d07c897f6fb48f8ef436b595ea.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhrRBfoywtB45Lb6HESoG1x07koOVMgq5-4MfaE0ODO1-8f2un3DAeJhe6x25Ge2DQr2OOIpqVvGLye2XJjmnroP1CKvwtBbyYZd27cqjznGy_V_IVG7zkncdxKwA7HOvXZIQ1MhMR-IPk/s320/016ff3dce60c7d84d07c897f6fb48f8ef436b595ea.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Next was the background, and I decided on this sunburst stencil, I use this one </div>
<div align="center">
quite a lot as you can get a lovely sunny look from it.</div>
<div align="center">
I inked through with some yellow and orange distress inks.</div>

The panels were then layered together onto some coloured cardstock.</div>

Happy New Year to all, hope you are all well, and well fed!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This months theme is all about the flowers, which Clarity do rather well I think.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love these stamps and have been looking for something to do with them</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
for a while.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started off not really knowing what I was going to do, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
as usual. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wasn't sure what size it was going to be so started with a piece of A4 card </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and stamped a row of flowers in archival ink.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then wet the whole page and sprinkled brushos in red and green were the</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
leaves and flowers are then sprayed again with water.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I got a little bit carried away with this one and don't have as many photos as I normally take.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also used some yellow and orange brushos/colour bursts powders at the top</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
and more water.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi bloggers, I have finally got round to blogging this winter scene card that I made. Not that its ever going to be sent to anyone as I like it too much myself.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I started this one off by getting very painty and messy. I blobbed some PaperArtsy fresco paints on some white card in blue and the metallic silver. Then used my fingers to spread the paint around.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
When it was dry I stamped one of the funky houses, I planned on just having one house, but thought it looked a bit lonely so decided to do a village.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkYLBSSRWnJDt_uwXNgovVZAAYmtGwviI_qCGXDqDgQrOdUVa-810OPrbDUvuWvDDQ1yo8-Mx1Icr9fGi0NsHfi94f9fmBNiVJGRTBm3qiRODFWgh1oyGkvCAP-06KCX2RhM6KInDl19Y/s1600/026.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkYLBSSRWnJDt_uwXNgovVZAAYmtGwviI_qCGXDqDgQrOdUVa-810OPrbDUvuWvDDQ1yo8-Mx1Icr9fGi0NsHfi94f9fmBNiVJGRTBm3qiRODFWgh1oyGkvCAP-06KCX2RhM6KInDl19Y/s320/026.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<br />
<br />
Once I'd done all the stamping I coloured the houses using various polychromo pencils. I used some distress ink around the edge and some yellow acrylic paint above the trees.<br />
<br />

<br />
I used paint again for the star and also some stick on metallic thingies that I thought would look nice.<br />
I also went a bit mad with glitter snow. Hope you like.<br />

Hello and welcome fellow crafters on a very wet and windy day in Yorkshire.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx5tiE0JFj2f5s7RY29fswtUt2qhvHw63nDa9y606c7xq2Nhaa0pp7mEQub1rCkLLoBzCejyxk3fXHFSTwLJFDzgeGj5kDB8Tn7DyUAp7lEW2qYnapJWDCI6O4O-QfIE4Eoa7roL2Gcko/s1600/211.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgx5tiE0JFj2f5s7RY29fswtUt2qhvHw63nDa9y606c7xq2Nhaa0pp7mEQub1rCkLLoBzCejyxk3fXHFSTwLJFDzgeGj5kDB8Tn7DyUAp7lEW2qYnapJWDCI6O4O-QfIE4Eoa7roL2Gcko/s320/211.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This months inspiration started off life as a plain piece of kraft card. I don't have many Christmas stamps so I had to just use the couple that I did have. I started off by stamping the holly stamp around the edge of the card with versamark ink and then heat embossing with white embossing powder. I really love this effect on the kraft card.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I decided to use pencils to colour the holly in, but half way through I regretted this decision as I spent an awful lot of time sharpening my pencils. The kraft card was really quite rough and was blunting them rather quickly. It looked nice when finished though.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I wasn't sure what to do at this point, so just looked at it for a couple of days. Then I had one of those 'aha' moments whilst looking through my stencils. I placed the winter tree stencil over the card with the obligatory moon mask too. I used chipped sapphire and gathered twigs distress inks through the stencil with cut and dry foam, as I wanted the ink really dark. When I removed the stencil I noticed that the ink was still really wet so thought i would put some clear embossing powder over it. When I heated it I noticed that it had lots of white flecks in it that must have in the clear. I must admit it looked really cool, like snowflakes.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I edged the card with more of the gathered twigs ink, but it was still lacking something, so out came the gilding wax. I rubbed some into the moon and then around the edge of the card. Also onto the black card that I mounted it onto. The word and stag stamps were done in versamark ink and heat embossed with gold to match. I really loved the overall look of this one, even my Mum likes it and she's my biggest critic! </div>

Hello bloggers and welcome to this months blog, which is all about being clean and simple.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmRei2cYzK-KviOWxqmkrqAHlhUzmY-0GS7rLG25xXzrtBK7zhFXoHn8RUYEtsxFgdaDevrGEbRiYmbGOo4nGHoSkpY_Ber1Jk4_zDbAlFqoF3k8y3Fj7Tz8Z3dYTP1WHF5i5UzZuGiEA/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="304" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmRei2cYzK-KviOWxqmkrqAHlhUzmY-0GS7rLG25xXzrtBK7zhFXoHn8RUYEtsxFgdaDevrGEbRiYmbGOo4nGHoSkpY_Ber1Jk4_zDbAlFqoF3k8y3Fj7Tz8Z3dYTP1WHF5i5UzZuGiEA/s320/image.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is not something that comes easy to me, especially the clean part. I always end up covered in whatever medium I am using.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This card came to me when I wasn't even thinking about it. It just popped in, so I got on and did it straight away before I forgot.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Firstly I used various sizes of circle dies and cut out holes in a descending order. Then got to work on the backing card. I drew through the holes with a pencil so that I would have a bit of an idea where I was working. Then used pink and blue distress ink to sweep across the area.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJrmr02f7qEx14ZXyqayeAeoYKCob9BsRgBC1gjq21MAJ1iko4QClEIP1LDzeq_WEDKPfO6a9lEbDJfzvSM9uqxgkWCO-4lbxw5Afj-qCpoppiA4tVa0jfEwTDLwhApdHhuD8_8n7qh5k/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJrmr02f7qEx14ZXyqayeAeoYKCob9BsRgBC1gjq21MAJ1iko4QClEIP1LDzeq_WEDKPfO6a9lEbDJfzvSM9uqxgkWCO-4lbxw5Afj-qCpoppiA4tVa0jfEwTDLwhApdHhuD8_8n7qh5k/s320/image.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuIDGw2BpZ2HFc3Kmp4wV5jrWtBRG9jR9PLHvx6-Ljl4F4mqTAtEjJ0s6Lr9TMoLeJg3PSHd5Tuj43YoO5vr9ZqK0fMHP1qh_6mmpwFD8EWOBG1xNyMgSlCTV78hL7T7NnPMrFofleamY/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhuIDGw2BpZ2HFc3Kmp4wV5jrWtBRG9jR9PLHvx6-Ljl4F4mqTAtEjJ0s6Lr9TMoLeJg3PSHd5Tuj43YoO5vr9ZqK0fMHP1qh_6mmpwFD8EWOBG1xNyMgSlCTV78hL7T7NnPMrFofleamY/s320/image.jpeg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It looked a little too dark so I used a white inkpad and a scruffy brush and went across each area with this. It gave a lovely whitewashed effect.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next came the stamping, I always knew I wanted to use the boy stamp, but I needed more birds. Luckily Clarity have lots of sets that have different sized birds which are really useful.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once stamped, it was just a case of placing the holey piece on top and glueing. I went round with the obligatory black marker to finish off.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Hi bloggers, I must admit this has been one of my favourite challenges as I love stencils.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj79R3Hp1rcSS2CNo4lGFYHG3-4Ndy1kuhIWfTlEgOmNKRjy0Dgsb5gqQGZLYqPDsQp-JkLt8LyGP5CKmpUfMTBgwRFJKSOJwpbRXNxdM22Hv8WV24C_1Sw5eFLCOnhCdGcnTWTbuUOnnc/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="302" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj79R3Hp1rcSS2CNo4lGFYHG3-4Ndy1kuhIWfTlEgOmNKRjy0Dgsb5gqQGZLYqPDsQp-JkLt8LyGP5CKmpUfMTBgwRFJKSOJwpbRXNxdM22Hv8WV24C_1Sw5eFLCOnhCdGcnTWTbuUOnnc/s320/image.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started off by using a pencil to draw through the elegant lady stencil and the mirror, I then flipped the stencil to draw in the reflection.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Next I used coloured pencils to colour her in, I must admit this did take me quite a while. I think I lost a few hours here! But they were very enjoyable hours. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJqA-HpeWoqzAt0CLI5jp-AaO-43vcdhuVYpzJlYYH4dICHtYRXGKwEXp0HbwCoZlyjC8k2u10r7Od950_pHtnQsTypCECpcBoQj-UwwDYnL8FOf0Xl1XyizangXqx0d534s4sI9Xg7cg/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJqA-HpeWoqzAt0CLI5jp-AaO-43vcdhuVYpzJlYYH4dICHtYRXGKwEXp0HbwCoZlyjC8k2u10r7Od950_pHtnQsTypCECpcBoQj-UwwDYnL8FOf0Xl1XyizangXqx0d534s4sI9Xg7cg/s320/image.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGkqexjhsruqGIHuH9ka37TEVjzO9fhQ0lhjZPvb2R40X62-BiCAIXKbd9EOflONt7A6tdvwSVxXcM0j5rgBlVJ0hu6pnSkQ96hy5dvve2GX-LvDdCkppZSPN5e0VB8ihTw0S6m2YpFuI/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGkqexjhsruqGIHuH9ka37TEVjzO9fhQ0lhjZPvb2R40X62-BiCAIXKbd9EOflONt7A6tdvwSVxXcM0j5rgBlVJ0hu6pnSkQ96hy5dvve2GX-LvDdCkppZSPN5e0VB8ihTw0S6m2YpFuI/s320/image.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once coloured I cut some masks to cover the images and places the trees stencil over the top. </div>
I also used some of the snowflake stencils but I forgot to photograph that bit. <br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4lk-hyvDsjycZ2jLIYVCbNLTu3K6UiBodyl_BtOsadq1P6O3Ljx6MYsUWg10-By5hIbVl5-_qf26dZhVd7EQEF-QCzy7CAoHhyphenhyphenWitd3rlnvDMsT6ldJWbGZCCaFkuk5x1p0aSIYSSp4I/s1600/image.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4lk-hyvDsjycZ2jLIYVCbNLTu3K6UiBodyl_BtOsadq1P6O3Ljx6MYsUWg10-By5hIbVl5-_qf26dZhVd7EQEF-QCzy7CAoHhyphenhyphenWitd3rlnvDMsT6ldJWbGZCCaFkuk5x1p0aSIYSSp4I/s320/image.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used distress ink at first and then removed the stencils and put in some definition using pencils. I was pleased with the overall effect. It also shows that stencils can be used in alsorts of ways. I think that especially with the Clarity stencils a lot of them can be used in this way, to draw round and colour in.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog.</div>

Hi bloggers, this is my card for this months theme, which is a shaped card.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span id="goog_494846683"></span><span id="goog_494846684"></span><br />
I really wasn't looking forward to this challenge as these sort of cards are way out of my comfort zone, but once I got started and had an idea in my head I really enjoyed it.<br />
<br />
I started off with a template of a watering can which I coloured with one of the new distress inks, Hickory Smoke, which is a lovely colour and so useful.<br />

Once I had that done is was time to make the butterflies. I had some sticks which I coloured with various inks, then I stamped lots of different coloured butterflies, cut them out and stuck them on the sticks, varying the lengths of the sticks.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then stamped and cut out three different flowers to attach to the bottom of the watering can. It needed something else, so I stamped and embossed the fence with white embossing powder and cut this out too.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then it was just a case of sticky everything together. I was quite pleased with the finished result, although it did take longer than expected. The flower stamps that I used are some quite old Clarity ones, but still very useful. I don't have a lot of the new ones but I like that they never date and I can always do something with the ones I have.</div>

Hi, I just thought I would share this pot that I upcycled for my Mum. It was an old terracotta pot with a bit of a naff picture of an orange on it. She asked me if I could do something with it, of course I could. I started by painting it with the PaperArtsy fresco finish paints (can't remember the colour), then I stamped these lovely PaperArtsy Lin Brown flowers and leaves in versamark ink and embossed them in lemon and orange embossing powder.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Hello and welcome to this months blog. My Bingo is a line down the middle, which means that I have used, gilding flakes, stamps and dies.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This project was inspired by a piece by my good friend Amanda Branagan, and started out life as a cheap blank kids jigsaw puzzle. First of all I started off by brayering some hills and sky with Adirondak inks, my brayer had been used for acrylics and not washed so it gave quite a nice texture.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRa4DXLd6U_oyH1SgdF-dWwEh9WO5p_v9_Ui2NkVQGLAmAs-bKT0Wp-X6y_Cz7zOIrO4dNkwrN9A9tOJTrnY-8vhAJ0DZsQrVYTevUZRqKuOiv1Fk0MFY1WGEZlUrqA2vYQkvK_dbnZwo/s1600/0138e2b11084d26d758bdf79c237ad6664a0ae5111.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRa4DXLd6U_oyH1SgdF-dWwEh9WO5p_v9_Ui2NkVQGLAmAs-bKT0Wp-X6y_Cz7zOIrO4dNkwrN9A9tOJTrnY-8vhAJ0DZsQrVYTevUZRqKuOiv1Fk0MFY1WGEZlUrqA2vYQkvK_dbnZwo/s320/0138e2b11084d26d758bdf79c237ad6664a0ae5111.jpg" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next I used a mask and some yellow Fresco paint to put in a sun. I used the funky house and gate which I masked off and then stamped the funky trees and fence.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwBDenA6-qu-ZyzkHNWkI43qAwhlP6STpKXRsHx1GMfxBXxNXYpYholAcIN9HcV5nSqqmP7W-jVWyVWZq-l6VPYwcQjVLVNZEeMr7kGk2TtBGQ1ZpXhhKaH8xfGEjtvc6IDoWCZ3QW508/s1600/01cc54d0d7d7a97e063dd515e483cc498a6cf43242.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwBDenA6-qu-ZyzkHNWkI43qAwhlP6STpKXRsHx1GMfxBXxNXYpYholAcIN9HcV5nSqqmP7W-jVWyVWZq-l6VPYwcQjVLVNZEeMr7kGk2TtBGQ1ZpXhhKaH8xfGEjtvc6IDoWCZ3QW508/s320/01cc54d0d7d7a97e063dd515e483cc498a6cf43242.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next came the gilding flakes, which I love, but always end up getting everywhere but on the project. After much huffing and puffing I got it where it needed to be.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPkKBIrVyfVAkjyL0WGLHKOxq7tMDoJyw-hbsh8OtDUoQk-jS3N1U_XtIx0cHA4_79TtL-_MqyZWryN264uRprb-dU5wBS7tMYR5c_D5htqVeglm3fK4ia6TsbYn127IBDBjBC_Y8IU-8/s1600/016ae3d90a88a3fc83b995488a90c16a8988bb7ddb.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPkKBIrVyfVAkjyL0WGLHKOxq7tMDoJyw-hbsh8OtDUoQk-jS3N1U_XtIx0cHA4_79TtL-_MqyZWryN264uRprb-dU5wBS7tMYR5c_D5htqVeglm3fK4ia6TsbYn127IBDBjBC_Y8IU-8/s320/016ae3d90a88a3fc83b995488a90c16a8988bb7ddb.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I coloured the picture in with distress markers and wink of Stella pens to add some sparkle.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I don't have that many dies, but i like this one, which is a MFT die with three different types of tatty labels. I used my alphabet rotary stamp to add the stamped sentiment on the piece. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
Hi my blogging friends, this is my inspiration for this months challenge.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I found this one extremely difficult, as I just couldn't decide on what to do. I have put up a couple of rejections on Facebook before I finally decide on this on. Although this wasn't as straight forward as it could have been.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I started off with a brusho background, and then my favourite stencil, which I pulled some grunge past through.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I start off embossing it with gold embossing powder, but I didn't like it too much, so I then used red, and finally settled on white.</div>

Hi all, and welcome to my little blog.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHDFdpbiC8bV9B3dL2YDsRbUd9vxNGX9pn_9QO4DteFABGE5oAl79JokRFyqlUbnblVv_wFmbSAYLufXJTnBphyphenhyphenR28-Kxo65FiCAR0u2TcN5UnshmmGFF6cYib2iYADVOOLHp74bb5W4w/s1600/010e9f69ac2110fb5a8c2bcd25d8e26978b268dd1e.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="291" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHDFdpbiC8bV9B3dL2YDsRbUd9vxNGX9pn_9QO4DteFABGE5oAl79JokRFyqlUbnblVv_wFmbSAYLufXJTnBphyphenhyphenR28-Kxo65FiCAR0u2TcN5UnshmmGFF6cYib2iYADVOOLHp74bb5W4w/s320/010e9f69ac2110fb5a8c2bcd25d8e26978b268dd1e.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This is the card that I ended up with for this challenge, although it wasn't the one I intended on, yet again! The original will be blogged at a later date Lol!<br />
<br />
This one however started off with the landscape mask of the rooftops, and a white inkpad sponged over it. I wanted the houses in the foreground to stand out quite a bit so I used clear embossing powder over the top, which gave a really nice effect.<br />
<br />
Next I kept moving the mask further up the card and sponging through with the white again, but only lightly now. I then used the outer of the moon mask and went through with the white.<br />
<br />
I wasn't sure what to do next, but I had recently bought some gilding flakes, so decided to give them a go with the male fairies/elves. So I stamped them with the glue and gave them a gilding!<br />
Quite impressed! I was then on a roll and decided to do some more, so I used the star stamp round the edge and gilded those too.<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The artwork was then mounted onto a white card base and black lines drawn around to add definition.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I was quite pleased in the end.</div>

Once again, a project that started life as something completely different. I started off painting a piece of heavyweight card with some turquoise paint, then I used some Fresco Finish Crackle which Clarity now stock. Once dried I brayered some nougat fresco paint, and waited for the crackle.</div>

I used some small flower stamps from the elegant lady accessory set, to stamp over with and then cut out a large circle. I then used some grunge paste through the round number stencil, painted it when dry and then rubbed some of the amazing pebeo gilding wax over it. At this point I got stuck and wasn't sure where to go. I spent ages looking through my stamps until I saw the butterflies, and that was it.</div>

After three hours of stamping, embossing and cutting out I had a lovely pile of butterflies to use.</div>

I did some matting and layering, some more stamping (most of which actually got covered up), and we were done. </div>

Hi my little blog friends, this is my Artwork using the little fairy folk;</div>

I started off with some grungepaste through the stencil.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then masked off the bottom half and put the stencil back on before stamping the funky house.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then covered the house with a mask and using the fresco finish paints with a blending tool I painted the hills and the sky with various colours.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I then stamped the fairies in black, but I didn't put the stencil back on and ended up with black in the trees, which I didn't want. I also put the stencil back over the top and did about three layers of clear embossing over the grunge paste to make it really glossy. I wasn't sure how to sort out the black in the trees, so made a bold move and coloured all the trees with a black sharpie pen. This took ages!</div>

I was asked to do something with poppies and daisies, as she has two dogs with those names. It has taken me over a month, as I had no idea where to start, then half way through I was told that the daisies looked like fried eggs! So I had to start again with them. Then just when I thought I had nearly finished it I ruined it my trying to put black embossing powder on one thing and it stuck to parts of wet paint! Anyway it's finished now, I hope she likes it when it arrives.<div>

I'm afraid there aren't many photo's as I got a bit engrossed and didn't take any!<br />
I started off with four cup coasters that I had bought cheap as the box was damaged, I sanded the printed side slightly to make painting easier. First I painted them all in fluorescent pink, then in buff and then in a lovely turquoise colour. Each time I only roughly painted so that you could see a bit of the colour underneath. I used a brayer which helped to make it a bit patchy, which is what I wanted.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNFOXGGp8uui8M6dd4XkuLrjN_SXCIk_BBA6H70Z0m3rC5h8ajt8eLthk4ye_jBMWxYKYFTq6bS9qYrPPjLakQmRkAFITVqhGMlDvrEsxEHxvtuAIUL7Ks7_2S-laUR8e0R3LCi5D0sNk/s1600/IMG_1484.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><b></b></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp9rokduahcgqF99oC0kyccMnBwKn59hAGxV8LmHQefle1FT6-f0c17UfbueehQB8GdFuKJl5yylujKHqUJHdUWxJSZHuCiz_JhQkAjiFpbDSAjDIoM0vctwq0U645mZKA_DdWASG1h_A/s1600/013af4c5cd116358a3f39908d9e46f2bcfb958664b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhp9rokduahcgqF99oC0kyccMnBwKn59hAGxV8LmHQefle1FT6-f0c17UfbueehQB8GdFuKJl5yylujKHqUJHdUWxJSZHuCiz_JhQkAjiFpbDSAjDIoM0vctwq0U645mZKA_DdWASG1h_A/s1600/013af4c5cd116358a3f39908d9e46f2bcfb958664b.jpg" height="320" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once I was happy with the base I used versamark ink to stamp the various Clarity word stamps into a corner of each of the coasters. I then used the butterfly tree set, which also has these lovely large butterflies with it. I just used the butterfly part of the stamp in the confers then the larger ones. I used an opaque white and pale blue speckled embossing powder and heat embossed it. I love this look. Once it had cooled down I used some Pebeo gilding wax round the edges and tiny bits over the middle too. Once it was buffed up it looked lovely.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieo3rq99aRWufjKYZC46xzrY1p5U7GSarR_bFilVTvUDhIWamoDK_3JP8-NCHzy8sKN1e2xgbJYb5m0BjEIPUjvhcJx2Q6-3ivdoZORJKY8TcGfJkDJebT_ZOWZaorjMSCEKyZp1u_2Jg/s1600/IMG_1482.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEieo3rq99aRWufjKYZC46xzrY1p5U7GSarR_bFilVTvUDhIWamoDK_3JP8-NCHzy8sKN1e2xgbJYb5m0BjEIPUjvhcJx2Q6-3ivdoZORJKY8TcGfJkDJebT_ZOWZaorjMSCEKyZp1u_2Jg/s1600/IMG_1482.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have three friends who I love very much and I decided that these words would mean something special to each of them, so I wrote a personal message on the back of all of them and put a magnet on the back too. The next time we met I handed them out so that we all have one of the set, and know that we are always there for each other. Luckily they all liked them. Whew!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hope you do too.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Thanks for reading my little blog, and hope you can join in with the Clarity Challenge this month. It's great fun to try something different. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hugs,</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used one of the clarity stencils to paint through, then sprayed various ink sprays through the stencil too. I have no idea where this is going! Lol! </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I used some orange ink sprays too, the ones with mica in them and tipped the canvas so that it dripped, which gave me the idea to do it from the other side too with watered down snowflake paint. This is when I showed on Facebook for where to go next? Everyone said it looked like underwater but I was very limited in the stamps I have, so I improvised and used the thistle leaf for seaweed and the poppy stencil for underwater flowers. I mixed pollyfiller with gesso and used this through the stencil to create the flowers, and then put the stencil back in place and used the 'wink of Stella' pens to colour the flowers.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2BENhrlRE9MRf62bFt6b3IAd6b2g3VZDFJ9n-0cldvPjWQO827e1daCj0Gngxfh9QZa95jTgCEQso4rJZTHhcGmsqdfyd1Vvzg541OvtiflkFR14eqz1TGrVcIkiTMzSzWUGnKWbhrCg/s1600/IMG_5574.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a></div>

I thought I would blog my process for working on a canvas</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Basically, I just start by using something I like as a base point</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirROvtabhwknfnft3-u8mm0MDX1g7hwS21oayw6Up6j_9ewyUnQ2xKrjtWuhT3QQUXdkm-D7bhMPaqpIBPRRDn1tE1xSKKygJDjTOotD4MyU87MJRL3jKGnH5G9FbOH9gJx-D4FPtshlY/s1600/IMG_1371.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEirROvtabhwknfnft3-u8mm0MDX1g7hwS21oayw6Up6j_9ewyUnQ2xKrjtWuhT3QQUXdkm-D7bhMPaqpIBPRRDn1tE1xSKKygJDjTOotD4MyU87MJRL3jKGnH5G9FbOH9gJx-D4FPtshlY/s1600/IMG_1371.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I used some pollyfiller through the winter tree stencil, there was some blue ink left on the stencil which gave the texture that blue colour.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then I added some torn book pages,</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt1RjdL5pHyx_pJlhBeWN8PlM-5elmTcyy-GyWc9145EREWpn2han6WnmekEMsnsP54b-aYNhHqKdBm3Smgbu3hdRR0MTCDElkTtKFmp1aHmXQnvbeA0tinwyt8VMUF5uoScWOlb4q5TY/s1600/IMG_1374.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt1RjdL5pHyx_pJlhBeWN8PlM-5elmTcyy-GyWc9145EREWpn2han6WnmekEMsnsP54b-aYNhHqKdBm3Smgbu3hdRR0MTCDElkTtKFmp1aHmXQnvbeA0tinwyt8VMUF5uoScWOlb4q5TY/s1600/IMG_1374.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And a few blobs of blue paint, at this point I had no idea where it was going!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif0ez6rsxtO50H0EIq2JbLfzPDUi9qzNjU7hVIZTCUGpOt5qJfBAqDDoOXBvedHIguFrIXiRJmBtrCHBZ_i4B2tCqC-cvxdz3Ajh8Q0lqw4F6JgifiLhwEkW8y3w-oeyh4kYL98NWpqPU/s1600/IMG_1376.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEif0ez6rsxtO50H0EIq2JbLfzPDUi9qzNjU7hVIZTCUGpOt5qJfBAqDDoOXBvedHIguFrIXiRJmBtrCHBZ_i4B2tCqC-cvxdz3Ajh8Q0lqw4F6JgifiLhwEkW8y3w-oeyh4kYL98NWpqPU/s1600/IMG_1376.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Ruined it totally with the mustard colour! Where do I go now?</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVuoIsbzL3oG6j-I7CBCZctAC-6AjotS973DjkKxZR4GfbUJ6Dtv8bjnKLhiiZAm0kzOJn_Q60K94jof9cLKeE601DlcHTBq85ZUPa0269f2YLU_GZ9Vd6jFxP7Hgj1Xe-XMUt1lG1AhQ/s1600/IMG_1378.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVuoIsbzL3oG6j-I7CBCZctAC-6AjotS973DjkKxZR4GfbUJ6Dtv8bjnKLhiiZAm0kzOJn_Q60K94jof9cLKeE601DlcHTBq85ZUPa0269f2YLU_GZ9Vd6jFxP7Hgj1Xe-XMUt1lG1AhQ/s1600/IMG_1378.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I swept across it with some white, pink and blue acrylic paints and then went round the circles with a black oil pastel and rubbed it with my finger to blend it. The other circle I did with sparkle texture paste.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pa6g47mo_gc/VLAUCgAFhBI/AAAAAAAABY8/-1o-2sh87R4/s1600/15%2B-%2B1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pa6g47mo_gc/VLAUCgAFhBI/AAAAAAAABY8/-1o-2sh87R4/s1600/15%2B-%2B1" height="270" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I added some white paint with some texture pads and then some embossed blossom. Stamped some birds, I like these birds. I also brushed some gold acrylic paint across it too. The circles weren't quite dark enough so I used a really small brush and some black glossy paint. To frame it all I went round the edge with versamark ink and used black embossing powder. Then just onto another white canvas.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's taken me four days of going back to it, but I think I'm finished now. The point is, even if you think you've ruined something it isn't always the case. Also, you don't always have to have a plan! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I never do. Xx</div>

Yeah! My Christmas present arrived today that my son bought me. He is 17 and has a part time job at the golf club while he's in Sixth Form. This is the first present he has ever bought me and I couldn't be happier.</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Hi, I thought I would share something that I actually made a while ago, </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But since it's using Clarity products, I thought I would give it an airing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It was made using the gelli plate and the poppy stencil. Then when I'd pulled the print </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I put the stencil back on and used some bright inks throug it</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
To highlight the flowers. It was one of my first attempts at this </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And I was really pleased with it so I made a frame to match.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For the life of me I haven't been able to recreate it, it never goes quite right.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But I suppose that's the nature of the gelli plate.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Hi all, I have down some housework today,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And frittered the rest of the day on blogs and trying to suss out</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Getting photos on blogs. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I normally do most of my stuff on an iPad, which for some reason today,</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Just doesn't like giving up its phots.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht3R3wBc5eXkYmi0XFHhfg3yTnXQLw5f430STiypTJFfsmSNXchdrULDZoQ3mGOAD8T1e-o9-byCMT8G3Bicljorr8R8RdYxlbAKyKLKF57-LCINiV1iUFGHHrRcoDVOxNav8UCUCgIwQ/s1600/IMG_5532.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEht3R3wBc5eXkYmi0XFHhfg3yTnXQLw5f430STiypTJFfsmSNXchdrULDZoQ3mGOAD8T1e-o9-byCMT8G3Bicljorr8R8RdYxlbAKyKLKF57-LCINiV1iUFGHHrRcoDVOxNav8UCUCgIwQ/s1600/IMG_5532.JPG" height="240" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have realised that if I take the photos with the iPad i can use them, so that's my future </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Blogging sorted.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
By the way, this is Milly (the model for the day!) she didn't mind,</div>

Hi all, and welcome to my first post as a member of the 'Clarity Challenge Blog' design team. I'm hoping that you will be inspired by my work as I have been inspired by the previous team. <br />
I'm afraid I'm not very technical so my blog is, at the present, very basic. Hopefully I will be able to change that as time goes by.<br />
My offering for the first challenge 'Things with Wings' ended up being nothing how I first imaged it. I started off with the Clarity bird stencil, and put some texture paste through, then let it dry thoroughly. I replaced the stencil and inked through with a versamark ink pad, removed the stencil and sprinkled with clear embossing powder. When I heated it the paste bubbled a bit and gave a lovely texture.<br />
The whole thing was then painted over with Daler Rowney System 3 acrylics, a mixture of red, orange and rich gold. The highlights on the birds comes from wiping with a babywipe and kitchen towel. The birds still didn't stand out enough so I used a white Wink of Stella pen to go around them. The branches were painted over with some Pebeo gilding wax (fantastic stuff) to give some more bling.<br />
I picked the frame up for a pound in some homeware store, I covered it in black gesso, then some black gloss paint to get it really black, then rubbed more gilding wax on with my fingers. Once it's dry you can buff it up to a lovely shine. I then stamped with the large Clarity flourish stamp with<br />
versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder to finish off.<br />
<br />
I do hope you like, and next time I will remember to take photos during the crafting process and not just after. If anyone wants any more info, or help with anything crafty, please leave me a message.<br />
<br />

Hi, this is one of a pair of canvases I made for my Mum. She saw this one and asked if I could do another one, the same, but different! Not as easy as you'd think, but I did my best and she was pleased with them, which is all that matters. They now hang on either sides of the double doors in my Mums living room and they look lovely. <br />
<br />
It went through various stages of looking a mess, even messier, and just downright messy. But I never gave it up and just kept adding and adding until I liked it. It still looks a mess, but a nice mess!<br />

Hi all,<br />
This was my card for the Clarity Challenge a couple of months ago. I was quite proud of this card as it used one of my first attempts with my gelli plate. I loved playing with it, but then didn't really know what to do with all the artwork that I had. The end result was a bit of a happy accident as when I put the black gesso through the stencil it squidged under the stencil and looked a bit of a mess when I removed the stencil. I sat looking at it for an age wondering whether to bin it or not. Then I thought I would just try something first, so I put the stencil back on and used a white pen around the edge, with a few dots for effect. I really liked it! <br />
Just goes to show, everything can normally be salvaged if you stare at it long enough! Lol!Amanda Openshawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13178381011252811865noreply@blogger.com0
