Step by step guides to artwork, cards and projects and a bit of me thrown in for good luck. I have tried to link most of the products used. If you have any questions about the projects or techniques used, please don't be shy, just leave me a comment and I'll get back to you.

Hi, this is one of a pair of canvases I made for my Mum. She saw this one and asked if I could do another one, the same, but different! Not as easy as you'd think, but I did my best and she was pleased with them, which is all that matters. They now hang on either sides of the double doors in my Mums living room and they look lovely.
It went through various stages of looking a mess, even messier, and just downright messy. But I never gave it up and just kept adding and adding until I liked it. It still looks a mess, but a nice mess!

Clarity Challenge
Hi all,
This was my card for the Clarity Challenge a couple of months ago. I was quite proud of this card as it used one of my first attempts with my gelli plate. I loved playing with it, but then didn't really know what to do with all the artwork that I had. The end result was a bit of a happy accident as when I put the black gesso through the stencil it squidged under the stencil and looked a bit of a mess when I removed the stencil. I sat looking at it for an age wondering whether to bin it or not. Then I thought I would just try something first, so I put the stencil back on and used a white pen around the edge, with a few dots for effect. I really liked it!
Just goes to show, everything can normally be salvaged if you stare at it long enough! Lol!
